Udaipur : A teacher was murdered with a sword on Thursday in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. The teacher was sitting outside his house. Then a miscreant came and slit his throat. During this, the teacher’s father’s hand, who came to rescue him, was also cut. He has been admitted to the hospital due to serious injuries. The people of Meghwal community are outraged in this case. They are demanding the arrest of the accused soon.
Smoking a cigarette and then hitting the sword
Shankarlal Malviya, a resident of Adwas village located in Salumber area of Udaipur district, was sitting outside the house at around 10 pm. Then a miscreant came there and started smoking cigarettes from a nearby shop. Then suddenly a sword attacked Shankarlal Malviya, a teacher standing nearby. Due to which his throat was cut and he died due to excessive bleeding. The accused also attacked the father Dalchand Meghwal, who came to save his son after hearing his screams, with a sword. Due to which his hand was cut, the accused youth absconded after committing the murder. In this case, the police has got the post-mortem of the deceased done and handed over the body to the family. The investigation of the case has started and the accused is being searched.
Anger erupted in Meghwal society
The Meghwal community is furious over this incident. People of the Meghwal community from many nearby villages also reached Adwas village and are preparing for a protest demanding the arrest of the accused and strict punishment. However, the police have assured to arrest the accused soon.
