Criminals set two vehicles on fire in Latehar

Latehar, December 2 (IANS). Last night, criminals created a ruckus near Kusmahi Railway Coal Siding under Balumath police station area of ​​Latehar district of Jharkhand.

During this time the criminals also set two vehicles on fire. At present, after receiving information about the incident, the police team is investigating the entire matter.

In fact, at around 2:00 pm last night, unknown criminals reached Makiyatand in Balumath police station area and set fire to two vehicles laden with coal.

According to the information, when the criminals set fire to one vehicle, the driver of the other vehicle tried to escape from there. However, the criminals stopped the truck driver by firing at him, misbehaved with him, removed the driver from the vehicle and also set another vehicle on fire.

The incident site is just beside the National Highway. Truck driver Sabir Ansari told that he was coming to Kusmahi siding with coal from Tubed. But, four criminals reached near the siding and stopped his vehicle. The criminals first snatched his mobile phone, poured petrol in the car and set it on fire.

Earlier, on the morning of 28th November, unknown criminals had targeted coal laden trucks and opened fire at the railway coal siding located at Balumath in Latehar district.

However, there was no report of any casualty in this incident. But, the incident had created an atmosphere of fear in the area.

In this regard, the truck drivers present at the spot had said that around 4 am in the morning the criminals entered the siding on a motorcycle and started firing bullets targeting the trucks. The criminals had fired about 15 to 20 shots during this period. After this the criminals fled from the scene.
