Crores of rupees were extorted by opening fake marriage bureaus, lakhs of people of Rajasthan and Haryana were made victims in the name of arranging marriages.

Bharatpur : A case of fraud worth crores of rupees through fake marriage bureau has come to light in Nimla village of Deeg district in Rajasthan. This fake marriage bureau is located in Nimla village. It has so far cheated the people of Rajasthan and Haryana to the tune of Rs 8 crore. When people came to know about this fraud, they are continuously visiting fake marriage bureaus to get their money back.

8 crore rupees cheated from the public
As the matter escalated, a Panchayat was held in Nimla village on Friday. In which fake marriage bureau operator Sekul has admitted that he and his other associates have Rs 8 crore from the public, which they have defrauded. Apart from this, due to fear of being caught, he has also said that he will return this money to the public soon.

Used to cheat girls in the name of getting them married
The victims told that in village Nimla of Pahari subdivision of Deeg district, this fake marriage bureau named Sekul, along with his other associates, used to get girls married by issuing receipts worth Rs 1.5 lakh in the name of getting them married. He used to get the marriage done by bearing all the expenses including food and drink. For this reason, to avoid other expenses, thousands of people had submitted applications for the marriage of their daughters.

He came out on parole only two months ago
A few months ago, Kaithwada police had busted this fake marriage bureau and arrested its associates and put them behind the bars. Sekul has come out on parole only a few days ago in this case. 8 crore rupees of people are stuck with Sekul in the name of marriage applications. People are turning to Sekul and his agents every day for their money. After the intervention of the police and the Panchayat, Sekul and his agents confessed to everything. Someone got Rs 94 lakh, someone got Rs 86 lakh and someone got crores of rupees. The agents confessed and said that they would return the people’s money within 10 days. Police interrogation revealed that he had also appointed his relatives as agents.
