Crores spent to kill mosquitoes in Rajasthan, yet they are deadly, watch this report in the video

Jodhpur : Mosquito sting is now becoming fatal. Officially, there have been two deaths in the state due to dengue, but unofficially the figure is much higher. The special thing is that during the monsoon season, every month a family spends about Rs 500 on protection from mosquitoes. The expenses of a family in the entire season amount to Rs 1500. A common family keeps an additional budget of three to five thousand rupees for this in a season. The market of mosquito control in the state reaches Rs 200 crore in three months. Despite this, people are dying from dengue.

Government spends one crore rupees

Every year the state government releases a budget to put medicines like Temifos and MLO in public places in a district for mosquito control. In such a situation, the government gives one and a half to two lakh rupees for control medicine to a district every season. This time the budget is above one crore.

After all, how is the industry thriving?

Governments spend crores of rupees every year on mosquito control, but are not successful in mosquito control. Taking advantage of this, the pest control industry is doing business worth thousands of crores across the country. Due to the negligence of the government, the budget of people’s homes is getting spoiled. For mosquito control, a family takes measures like spray, insect control coil, insect control electronic machine, mosquito control cream.

In Jodhpur city alone, the market of mosquito control crosses Rs 5 crore during the monsoon season. Same is the condition of Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur. Avinash Singhi, Organization Secretary of Jodhpur Chemist Association, says that apart from medical stockists, it also has stock in FMCG products.
