Last day, till late night, the Baraati and Gharati kept dancing to the tune of Shehnai and band instruments. Most of the marriage homes and resorts in the city were booked for the wedding season. On this day, more than 150 new couples got tied in the bond of introduction and became each other for life after life. Crowd is being seen in the markets regarding Sahalag. Mehtab Singh Kanshana of Basai Dang says that due to lack of auspicious time for marriage on Akshaya Tritiya of Baisakh month, a large number of marriages have taken place on Dev Prabodhani Ekadashi on 12th November. People had chosen this date because of the unknown auspicious time for marriage on that day. Kirori Lal of village Javali says that instead of Dholpur, Agra and Gwalior, wedding related items are available in Bari at a much lower price and in case of leftover food items, the facility of return is also available.
