Jodhpur : After the ruckus that took place late night in Sur Sagar area of Jodhpur district, the police have so far detained about fifteen people from both the sides. The atmosphere is said to be calm for now but now the videos of the ruckus that took place last night are going viral. After this ruckus over making a new door in Idgah, the stone pelters kept pelting stones for about half an hour. Police was also present there, but these stone pelters could not be controlled by the police. Later additional force was called.
People in Jodhpur became thirsty for each other’s life
Local people said that they had never seen such a situation before. Stone pelting continued for half an hour, people’s vehicles were burnt, shops were set on fire. People who lived together became thirsty for each other’s life. Many policemen have been injured in the stone pelting. SHO of Chaupasni Housing Board police station is also included in this. He has also been taken to the hospital.
Police and force were seen on the streets at midnight
It is being claimed that the situation is under control since 1 am. In the morning, police officers again reached the spot. Heavy police force has been deployed. The door which was removed has been closed for now and its work has also been stopped. There was already a door in Idgah, this dispute happened over removing two doors simultaneously on the back wall. It is being told that this dispute happened twice in two days, but every time the police controlled the situation. The third time the police could not stop the disturbance from happening.
