Banswara : 6 children including two brothers died in three separate incidents in Banswara district on Friday due to drowning in a pond, river and tank. This includes a two and a half year old innocent, who fell into a water tank while playing. The four children, residents of Samudaya Chhoti village, went to bathe in a pond near Sandalai Chhoti village of Sajjangarh police station area at around 3:00 pm, and drowned in the water. The deceased Rohit son Dinesh was a student of class V, Rohit son Raju was a student of class III, Shayanesh son Raju was a student of class II, Shailesh son Devchand was a student of class II, who studied in Government Higher Primary School. Rohit and Shayanesh were both brothers. Rohit’s age is said to be 12 years and Shailesh’s age is 8 years. On receiving the information, Sub Inspector Narendra Singh of Sajjangarh police station, Head Constable Bharat Patidar reached the spot and the bodies of the four deceased were sent to Sajjangarh Community Health Center. The post-mortem of the bodies will be done on Saturday morning. There was an uproar among the family members after the incident.
Child dies after drowning in a water tank
A two and half year old child died after falling into a water tank while playing in Bari Siyatalai village near Banswara city. Construction of a house is going on in the village. There was a small tank on the ground to fill water for it. Kishan’s two and half year old son Vansh reached there while playing and fell into the tank. He died by drowning in water.
A girl drowned while bathing in a river and died
A girl died by drowning while bathing in a river in Makanpura village of Danpur police station area. Makanpura resident Suraj’s 8 year old daughter Bhumika went to bathe in the river a little distance away from the house. While bathing, the girl suddenly disappeared. Then the villagers noticed. After searching for the girl, the family took her out of the river and took her to the local hospital. There the doctor declared Bhumika dead.
