Dancer Himansi Katargada gave a dance performance in Bhilwara.

Kuchipudi dancer Himansi Katargada’s presentation took place in Raumavi and Rabamavi Banera on Wednesday, the third day of the workshop demonstration running in collaboration with Bhilwara : Spic Mackey and Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Kailash Palia told that Himansi Katragada started his program by praising Ganesh, Saraswati, Shiva and explained the history of Kuchipudi dance to the students and gave information about its origin.

After that, in Lord Krishna Leela, Govardhan Dharan Swagatam Krishna Sharanagatam Krishna explained the story of Krishna lifting the Govardhan mountain on his finger and shattering the pride of Devraj Indra. The main dance ‘Tarangam’ enthralled the audience by dancing on the plate. According to Artist Coordinator Anu Prajapat, the first presentation on Thursday will be held at 10 am in Rabaumavi Swaroopganj and the second presentation will be held at 11.30 am at Raumavi Mandapiya.
