Dark clouds loom over Janmashtami, heavy rain warning in these districts including Jaipur

Jaipur : Rajasthan’s quota of monsoon rain has been completed. Now whatever rain is happening is bringing trouble. As per the weather department’s earlier warning, heavy rain occurred in many areas on Sunday. Now the weather department has predicted that there is a possibility of rain in all the districts of Rajasthan on Monday, August 26. Rain alert has been issued in 32 districts. Out of these, there are 14 districts where heavy to very heavy rain warning has been issued. People of these districts have been advised to stay safe.

Heavy rain alert issued in 31 districts

Apart from this, in the latest alert of the Meteorological Department Jaipur, an orange alert has been issued in Ajmer, Tonk, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur, Barmer, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, Sirohi, Jalore districts. According to this, intermittent light to heavy rain is likely to continue with thunderstorms along with strong winds (estimated wind speed 30-40 km per hour) at some places in these districts. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued in Bundi, Kota, Pali, Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Nagaur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Baran, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Churu districts. Along with this, light to moderate rain is expected around these districts.

Along with this, if we talk about the weather conditions of the last 24 hours, then light to moderate rain with thunder was recorded at most places in eastern Rajasthan. Whereas light to moderate rain with thunder was recorded at some places in western Rajasthan. The highest rainfall in the state was recorded in Dausa at 144.0 mm. Apart from this, 133.0 mm rainfall was recorded in Riodar of Sirohi. 123 mm rainfall was recorded in Chauth ka Barwara of Sawaimadhopur.

Talking about the weather conditions on the occasion of Janmashtami on Monday, the low pressure area formed over Madhya Pradesh has intensified further on Sunday and it is located over northwestern Madhya Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan in the form of depression. There is a strong possibility of it gradually moving westward and intensifying into a deep depression in the next two-three days. Due to this, there is a strong possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at some places in the south-eastern parts of the state in the next two-three days. Along with this, there is a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in southern Rajasthan on August 26, which can increase to 50 km per hour.

This is the second round of heavy rain

This is the second round of heavy rain in Rajasthan. Heavy rain has started in the southern parts of Rajasthan due to the effect of the new circulation formed in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. This is happening for the second time this year. Earlier, from August 1 to August 15, there was a period of heavy rain due to the new system in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. This time the period of rain seems to be of 4 to 5 days instead of 15 days. But there is a possibility of a decrease in this period after August 28.
