Jaipur : Monsoon is completely kind in Rajasthan. Dark clouds are raining heavily in different districts. Waterlogging situation persists in many places. The temperature of most districts has become normal. Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued an alert of heavy rain in many districts today. Under which, an orange alert of moderate rain with thunder and lightning has been issued at some places in Jaipur, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Baran, Kota and Ajmer districts, while a yellow alert of light to moderate rain has been issued in Nagaur, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh districts.
Rain havoc in the past day
Talking about the weather of the past day, more than half of Rajasthan is submerged due to continuous rain in the state. On Thursday, due to heavy rains in Dungarpur and Banswara, the situation remains worrying. In this, 132 mm of rain was recorded in Simalwara area of Dungarpur and 95 mm in Banswara. Dungarpur recorded the heaviest rainfall of this monsoon season. Here 132 mm of water fell in a few hours, while 95 mm of rain was also recorded in Banswara.
Weather forecast for the coming day
According to the Meteorological Department Jaipur, monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of the state except the south-western parts in the coming days. At the same time, due to the new western disturbance formed over the north-eastern Rajasthan of the state, monsoon is passing through Bikaner-Churu. Due to this, there is a strong possibility of monsoon remaining active in eastern Rajasthan for the next two days. During this time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places and heavy rain at some places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Kota divisions. Along with this, the Meteorological Department of Bikaner Division of Western Rajasthan has predicted rain with thunder in some parts.
Be prepared for monsoon, floods can occur anywhere now
Apart from this, light to moderate rain is likely at some places in the eastern parts of Jodhpur division and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in the border areas.
