Darshan of Khatu Shyam Temple will remain closed for 20 hours on Diwali 2024, know the timings of darshan before going on 31st October.

Sikar : Khatu Shyam Mandir, which is in Sikar district, will remain closed from morning to 5 pm on Amavasya on October 31. This is because special worship and tilak of Baba Shyam is organized on this day. On this day devotees will be able to have darshan after 5 pm. Every year lakhs of devotees come to visit Khatu Shyam Baba on the festival of Diwali. Due to Amavasya this year, the temple administration has made special arrangements. The temple committee has appealed to the devotees to keep this in mind and plan their journey accordingly so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.

There will be special worship and tilak of Baba

Amavasya is on 31st October and on this date, as per tradition, special puja and tilak of Hare Ka Sahara Baba Shyam is done, hence like every Amavasya, it will be the same this time too. However, devotees need not despair. Darshan of Baba Shyam will be opened after 5 pm. Special decorations will also be done by the temple administration on Diwali and Lakshmi Puja will also be organized.

Darshan will remain closed for 20 hours

Prithvi Singh Chauhan, the new president of Shri Shyam Mandir Committee, said, ‘Due to the special worship and tilak of Shri Shyam Prabhu on the festival of Diwali on 31 October, darshan of Khatu Shyam Baba will be common from 10 pm on 30 October to 5 pm on 31 October. Demonstrations will remain closed. He further said, ‘Therefore come for darshan only after this period. This will help in the arrangements. After being closed for about 20 hours, the doors will be opened for public display on the evening of 31st.
