Pali : You must have read such news in which brothers quarrel over property. They usurp the lifelong earnings of the parents. But an interesting and painful case has come to light in Pali, where a mother has filed a case of fraud against her own daughter. The name of the victim woman is Lahar Kanwar, who is a resident of Samarth Nagar. She has accused her daughter Sagar Shekhawat of fraudulently usurping 43 tola gold jewellery and property worth Rs 1 crore. When the police also came to know about this incident, they were shocked. They also could not believe their eyes and ears that a daughter could do this.
However, they have also started investigating the case. According to the police, Lahar Kanwar’s husband Sur Singh Kumpawat had a brain hemorrhage attack in 2019. After which he became paralyzed. During this time, his daughter Sagar brought him from Jodhpur to Pali. Lahar Kanwar alleges that on August 5, 2019, Sagar deceived her ailing husband and took out all the gold jewellery kept in the SBI locker.
Occupying a house worth crores
Lahar Kanwar alleged that Sagar made her husband sign on white papers, even though she is illiterate. Apart from this, Sagar also snatched her husband’s Aadhar card, PAN card, ATM and other important documents. He also got a house worth Rs. 1.25 crore registered in his name in Subhash Nagar, Pali. In this entire case, Lahar Kanwar says that her husband also died due to this stress. The police have taken this matter seriously and started investigation.
