Daughters are showing their strength in football, Rajasthan became national football champion after 40 years

Kota : it is said that talent does not need anyone, success comes along with those who pursue their goal with passion, then what to say when it comes to daughters. Girls belonging to small villages of Rajasthan are proving their mettle in the game of football and their passion for the game is such that whoever is watching them play is saying that are the girls any less than the boys? All these players who are improving their game with passion, enthusiasm and technique in the Ummed Singh Stadium of Kota are no ordinary players, in the coming time many of these players will become a part of the Indian team. Their passion and enthusiasm is clearly visible in their game. The change that came in their life from Dhingsari, a small village of Nokha in Bikaner, is giving them wings to fly in the open sky and realize their dreams.

100-150 girls from nearby villages are taking training

Munni, a national player training at the academy, says that earlier in our village, girls were not allowed to study, let alone play. Arjun Award winner Magan Singh’s son Vikram Singh changed the face of the village. He built an academy in his father’s name. He explained to our family members.

Made Rajasthan a champion for 40 years

They taught us, encouraged us and we have reached here today. More than 45 girls from our village have played at the national level. Today 100-150 girls from nearby villages are taking training. We are working hard to win titles for the country by taking training at the State Sports Council’s Girls Football Academy in Kota.

Academy started in 2018

Kota’s sports officer and football coach Madhu Chauhan says that this is the third session of this academy which started in 2018. The Corona Academy remained closed for two years. Initially, 17 girls each came here but this time 28 girls have come from different parts of the state. Out of 28, 15 girls are from Dhingsari, a small village in Bikaner. In the current team, state junior team captain Sanju Kunwar, Dassu Kunwar and Manju Kunwar have honed their sports talent amidst adverse circumstances. Most of the 15 girls in the academy have played at the national level 2 to 3 times and have won gold medals at the state level 5 to 6 times.

13 players in Rajasthan team are from Kota academy

Rajasthan team has won the National Junior Girls Football Championship held in Belgaum, Karnataka after 40 years on the strength of these players. This team included 13 players from Kota Academy. State team captain Sanju Kunwar is also from Kota Academy. Sanju was also awarded Player of the Tournament. International player Munni was also selected as the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Munni has recently returned from Nepal after playing in the Asian Games for India. The dream of every player training in the academy is to play for the country and for this they are working very hard, while the coach of the academy is leaving no stone unturned to improve their game.
