In the marriage of Battilal Saini’s daughter Dhauli in Gokulwali Dhani of Khatwa village of Dausa district, the groom set a unique example for the society by taking one rupee as dowry. All the traditions were followed with simplicity in the wedding ceremony and the groom, who was in government service, refused to take dowry. After this, with everyone’s consent, the ritual was performed by taking only one rupee.
According to the information, Hariram Saini had reached Khatwa village with the wedding procession of his son Pintu from Agli Kothi Wali Dhani of Chhoti Jhampada village. The groom is a constable in Rajasthan Police. His marriage with Battilal Saini’s daughter took place with great pomp. All the wedding rituals were performed as per the traditions of the society. Where in the dowry ceremony, one rupee was given to the groom by the bride’s side. Which was humbly accepted by the people of the groom’s side and presented a unique example to the society.
The groom is a constable, the bride is preparing for the competition
The groom Pintu is a constable in Rajasthan Police, while the bride Dhauli is also preparing for the competition along with studying B.Ed. The groom’s father Hariram said that the bride is the real dowry in the marriage and the entire family and relatives are happy to implement this. During the marriage, he told his relatives that they would not take any dowry in the marriage and the marriage would take place without dowry. Everyone called this initiative a commendable step.
They say that marriage should be done without dowry, the one who gives a daughter has given everything. People in the neighborhood are also discussing it a lot. People say that if everyone does this, the respect of daughters will increase. Many intelligent people including MLA Ram Vilas Dungarpur, former Medical Minister Parsadi Lal Meena, former Sarpanch Hemraj, Prabhulal, Rambhajan and Mangilal also participated in the wedding ceremony here.
