Dausa : Municipal Council has got the acting chairman after 43 days. The Director of Autonomous Government Department has issued an order authorizing Vice Chairman and Ward 44 Councilor Kalpana Jaiman to take over as Chairman.
As soon as orders were received in this regard, Kalpana reached Jaiman Municipal Council and took charge. During this, Jaiman said – The first priority is to improve the cleanliness system of the city. Along with this, efforts will also be made to improve road, electricity and water systems. As long as I have the responsibility of the post of Chairman, I will discharge it with full devotion.
DLB Director issued orders
Kumar Pal Gautam, Special Secretary to the Director of the department, issued the orders on Monday. According to this, on October 7, 2024, Dausa Municipal Council Chairperson Mamta Chaudhary was suspended from the post of Chairperson and member. The post of Chairman in Municipal Council Dausa is reserved for general category women.
In such a situation, using the percentage powers under the sections of Rajasthan Municipality Act 2009, Vice President and Ward 44 Councilor Kalpana Jaiman is authorized to assume the post of President.
