Dausa News Desk: Due to a land dispute in Dausa district, a family climbed on a water tank last night. The family accused the police of taking unilateral action. Also, a jar filled with inflammable substance was thrown down from the tank by the family. This created a stir in the police administration. Due to fear of some untoward incident, a civil defense team was also deployed on the spot. The family got down from the tank after the police-administration assured action.
After about 18 hours, Rinkesh Meena, his wife Sunita, Ajay and Manisha Meena came down from the water tank under construction in Bhalpur village of Mehndipur Balaji police station area of Dausa. To convince them, police-administration staff including Sikrai SDM Dr. Navneet Kumar, Manpur Deputy SP Deepak Meena and police station in-charge Gaurav Pradhan reached the spot. The people climbing on the tank demanded to call Mahwa MLA Rajendra Meena to the spot to resolve the dispute, but after assurance they came down.
Angered by the unilateral action in the land dispute, four members of the same family climbed onto the water tank. Rinkesh Meena (35) son Ramkhiladi Meena, Sunita (35) wife Rinkesh, Ajay (6) son Rajaram and Manisha (38) wife Mahendra Meena climbed on the water tank. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and tried to convince them, but they did not agree and continued to climb on the tank. All four remained sitting on the tank in the cold all night. In the morning he threw down the empty jar. It is suspected that it was filled with inflammable substance.
Allegation of cutting pipe for wheat irrigation
The party occupying the water tank alleges that other people of the village have illegally encroached upon their land. They had laid pipes for wheat irrigation, which were cut by the other party. There was a dispute between both the parties regarding this matter. Regarding which one party lodged a report in the police station for action. It is alleged that the police arrested the youth from the victim’s side. Whereas no action was taken against the other party.
