Dausa people demonstrated outside Discom office and warned of agitation

Dausa News Desk: People troubled by the problem of power cut for a long time in Basava demonstrated outside the electricity sub station on Tuesday. The protesters demanded improvement in power supply and fixing the timing of power cuts. Basava Mandal Congress Committee President Manohar Sodia said that for the last fortnight, power supply is being disrupted in the town for 6 to 7 hours every day. Children’s education is being affected especially due to power cuts in the evening and late night, when examinations are near. Many times people are facing the problem of water due to lack of electricity even in the morning.

Manohar Sodiya said that people are worried as there is no fixed time for power cut. There is no way to give information about the problem as the electricity officials’ phones are switched off. The protesters gave a warning if the problem is not resolved within three days. The protesters gave a three-day ultimatum to the electricity department and said that if the problem is not resolved, a demonstration will be held outside the Electricity Corporation office. Rajendra Singh Rajput, Surajmal Sodia, Village Development Committee President Girraj Prasad Saini, Omprakash Mahawar, Ramavatar Sharma, Chhotalal Meena, Kalluram Sodia, Babli Saini, Laxman Saini and other local people participated in the demonstration.
