Dausa News Desk: To improve the arrangements of Sikrai Upazila Hospital of Dausa district, public representatives and officials have conducted surprise inspections several times in the last one year. But the situation remains worse. Be it cleanliness in the hospital premises or the dress code of the medical staff and doing duty as per the stipulated time. Despite receiving notice and reprimand from the hospital management, the mismanagement continues.
On Wednesday, Sub-Divisional Officer Dr. Navneet Kumar reached the upazila hospital for a surprise inspection due to the complaints of disturbances being received here. Where the SDM expressed displeasure after seeing many types of irregularities in the hospital including the duty chart of doctors and darkness in the premises.
He also reprimanded PMO Dr. Ramkishan Meena by directing him to improve the arrangements when he found disorder in the hospital despite repeated inspection and instructions for improvement.
During the inspection, the SDM told the personnel found in the hospital – if the hospital arrangements are not improved, action will be taken. During this, the SDM gave instructions regarding making the duty chart of the doctors including ward, delivery room in the hospital and installing tube lights in the hospital premises.
He has also given instructions to put up duty charts of doctors along with their names in the hospital premises.
