Dausa : After the Central Government gave permission to add senior citizens aged 70 years or more in Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, the State Government has also approved cashless treatment by including a new category in the Maa Yojana. .
Under the scheme, treatment up to Rs 5 lakh will be available free in the respective hospitals. For this, Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency has also issued guidelines. Senior citizens can register for this on PMJAY app. Online eKYC can be done easily through the app.
Under the scheme, senior citizens aged 70 years and above can apply for treatment under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) or Mukhyamantri Ayushman Yojana. This facility will be provided only in hospitals authorized by the state government.
The expense of this scheme will be borne by the Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency. This order is effective from October 29, 2024 and will be applicable only on one time claim basis. This step of the state government will prove important in the health improvement and social security of senior citizens.
