Banswara : The body of a newborn baby was found floating in water in Mahi Canal under Khamera police station area. On information received from the villagers, the Khamera police station team reached the spot. With the help of villagers, the team took out the body of the child from the canal, which was kept in the mortuary of MG Hospital for postmortem.
Khamera police station officer Rameshchand said – Photographs of the child’s dead body are being shared in the surrounding villages, so that the family members of the child can be traced. The matter is being investigated thoroughly.
According to preliminary investigation, the child was murdered and his body was thrown into the canal. Ready to investigate the matter from any angle. A case has been registered in the matter and search for the accused has also been started. However, further action will be taken in the matter after the postmortem report comes.
