Dead body of a newborn girl found in Karoli Rampur Dhwai village, case registered

Karauli News Desk: A sensation spread in the area after the dead body of a newborn girl was found in the forest near a culvert in Rampur Dhawai village of Sadar police station area. Sadar police station has conducted postmortem of the body at Karauli Hospital. After postmortem, doctors have expressed the possibility of the girl being stillborn. Sadar police station is investigating the matter. Karauli Sadar police station ASI Ramveer Singh said that information was received about the dead body of a newborn lying in the forest near the culvert of Rampur Dhawai village located on Karauli Gangapur road. On information, police reached the spot and inspected the spot. Later, the body of the newborn was kept in the mortuary of Karauli Hospital, where the postmortem of the girl’s body was conducted by the Medical Board. In the postmortem, the body was said to be four to five days old.

Medical Board member Dr. Vijay Singh said that the deceased girl was 28 to 30 weeks old. During investigation, the doctor has expressed the possibility of the girl being born dead. However, the situation will become completely clear only after the Bisra report comes. Sadar police station has performed the last rites of the newborn’s body after postmortem. Also, efforts are being made for identification through various mediums.
