Pratapgarh : Police have arrested four youths after revealing the case of the dead body of a youth found in a well without a parapet 2 weeks ago in Pratapgarh. Besides, two minors involved in this murder case have also been detained. The youth had committed the crime over a love affair.
Suhagpura police station officer Ramesh Chandra said that on November 20, Premchand Meena, a resident of Mota Mayanga, registered a case that his son Ravi had gone to meet his girlfriend on November 10. Where his minor brother saw him and called his friends to the spot. Vishnu Meena, Dhanraj Meena, Ishwar Meena, Rupesh Meena and two minors, who reached the spot, started beating Ravi and took him under a culvert behind the police station. Somehow Ravi ran towards Borankheda. All the accused kept running behind him to kill him. During this time, when he reached a well without a parapet, they beat him and pushed him into the well. Ravi did not know how to swim so he died due to drowning. In the case registered with the police, Premchand Meena told that Ravi’s friends Mukesh Meena and Nathu Meena had told him this. After investigation in this case, the police arrested Vishnu, Dhanraj, Ishwar and Rupesh Meena. Also, details of two minors involved in the case have been given.
