Deadly negligence in Jaipur JK Loan, wrong blood transfusion given to 10 year old child

Jaipur : A case of wrong blood group transfusion to a child has come to light in JK Lone Hospital. After the matter came to light, the hospital administration immediately formed an investigation committee and said that the child’s life is not in danger right now. According to the case, Mustafa (10 years), resident of Kaman, Bharatpur, was admitted to JK Lone Hospital on December 4 when his health deteriorated. In case of kidney problem and need of blood, family members were asked to bring blood. When the blood group was tested, it was found to be O-positive. Blood was given to the family on 5 December.

But it was AB positive instead of O-positive. The family members took this blood back to the staff and here this blood (AB positive) was given to Mustafa. When blood was needed again on 7th December, the family members were given a slip to bring blood. When the family members came to take blood, it came to light that the child had already been tested AB positive. Now the committee formed under the chairmanship of Senior Professor Dr. Kapil Garg includes Dr. RN Sehra, Dr. KK Yadav and blood bank in-charge Dr. Shantipriya Bhardwaj. The committee will present the report in four days

Sachin is dead, no action taken

Even before this, Sachin from Bandikui was given wrong blood group transfusion in the Trauma Center and he died. The government and the hospital administration constituted an inquiry committee and also asked for action. Despite this, no action has been taken against any employee of the hospital.

Blood group has changed, committee will report soon

The blood group has changed but it is not yet clear which group has been transfused. A committee has been formed and the report will be submitted soon.
