In the latest development, two days ago on Monday, Prof. Dwivedi got his name plate removed outside the Dean’s room and stopped sitting in the room. Since two days, he has not been signing any paper as the Dean. Now he is sitting in his room located in the painting department. He was appointed to the post of Dean in January 2024, but after a few months he offered to resign from the post citing personal reasons. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra asked him to remain on the post. After this, he again sent an e-mail to the Vice-Chancellor regarding leaving the post, but the resignation was not accepted. Recently, in his resignation letter sent for the third time, he himself made it clear that he will not work on this post after November 18. Pro. Hemant Dwivedi was appointed dean in January. He will have to complete his one year tenure. The owner will not be changed before this. He is also a member of the Board of Management. In such a situation, one will have to participate in the BOM meeting also. I had earlier also expressed my desire to resign due to family reasons. But now due to personal circumstances I am not able to work on this post. I have made it clear in my resignation that I will not work on the post of Dean after 18th November. That’s why I am sitting in my original department.
