Decision taken to end bad practices in Bhilwara city

A general meeting of 84 Khatik communities was organized at Bhilwara : Harni Mahadev Complex, in which the people of 65 villages participated enthusiastically. In the 84th meeting, President of Khatik Social Service Institute, Bhilwara, Rameshchandra Khoiwal and Panchayat members put forward proposals to stop the evils prevalent in the society or to amend them. Every point was discussed in detail in the meeting. After that, all the seven resolutions were passed unanimously by the community members by raising their hands. General Secretary of the organization, Dr. Sanjay Khoiwal told that in the meeting, on the death of someone, the clothes taken by the family members should be stopped and coconuts should be given in their place, in Maira and Manglik programs other brothers and sisters, except the main family, should give envelopes as per their wish in place of clothes. ,

In marriages or other auspicious events, liquor is served openly on the pots of the society, it has to be banned completely, pre-marriage to be banned in the marriage, serving of only one meal at the time of death, in which 84 members of society have proposed one meal in their proposal. Decisions were taken to provide breakfast and sweets etc. In the meeting, it was decided to implement all the seven decisions in Khatik Samaj Sakal Chaurasi from January 1, 2025. It was also decided to form a core committee of 84 to follow it. The next meeting of Sakal Chaurasi will be held at Triveni Dham. People of Khatik community from Bhilwara district, Chittorgarh district and Shahpura district were present in the meeting. At the end of the program, President Rameshchandra Khoiwal expressed his gratitude. The stage was coordinated by Shyamlal Chawla.
