New Delhi, November 12 (IANS). Political parties have started trying their best for the Delhi Assembly elections to be held in the year 2025. Congress leader Sandeep Dixit discussed his party’s preparations. He also accused the Aam Aadmi Party, an important constituent of the India Bloc, of corruption.
He talked about many issues while talking to IANS. Said, in the 2013 assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party had created an atmosphere against Congress. During that time many people from Congress had joined Aam Aadmi Party. At that time he had attracted the public’s attention by talking about cheap electricity, water and free bus services. Due to this, the vote bank of Congress went in favor of Aam Aadmi Party. But we had repeatedly said that Delhi needs better infrastructure, roads, bridges, metro, employment and clean air and for this money is needed.
Alleging freebies, Sandeep Dixit further said, Delhi cannot develop through freebies. Today, after 10 years, it has become clear that the citizens of Delhi are now realizing that the situation that has arisen after leaving Congress is not good. If we are successful in converting this memory into votes again, I am confident that Congress will emerge as the largest party in the February elections. Congress is now launching a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party government.
After this he said on the corruption in Delhi, as far as corruption is concerned, it has become a big issue because the party which used to claim honesty is itself surrounded by corruption allegations today. Earlier these people made many allegations against the Congress leaders, but now it has been proved that the allegations were completely baseless and this party was lying from the beginning. Now there is no truth in the things being said in his defence. If we talk about development of Delhi, it has not happened at all. Therefore, as a responsible opposition, we should question them, especially regarding their corruption, which is being discussed time and again in the court.
Attacking senior AAP leaders, Dixit said, give an example of any state where the Chief Minister, Finance Minister and other ministers have been in jail. Not only this, it is also clear that the court believes that their activities are suspicious, because the court ordered that Arvind Kejriwal be kept away from any government file. Which person is kept away from government work? The person who is suspected. The Supreme Court has said that according to them, Kejriwal is under so much suspicion that he cannot do government work. In a way, the Supreme Court has brought ‘No Confidence Motion’ on Kejriwal.
After this, on Kejriwal leaving the post, he said, Kejriwal had to leave the post. When the Supreme Court said that you cannot sign the file, cannot sit on the chair, cannot go to the office, cannot give any order, then why would he beat the drum by remaining the Chief Minister?
If he will not be able to commit corruption by manipulating files then what will he do with the post. Therefore he gave this post to his most trusted person. Talking to the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party, it is revealed that they have given this post to the weakest leader of Aam Aadmi Party. That woman cannot stand and talk in front of anyone. Kejriwal is the face after becoming Atishi. Their failure cannot be hidden. Many Chief Ministers had raised their voice for getting bail for Kejriwal. We never said that Kejriwal is innocent or not corrupt.
After this, when Rahul Gandhi took the side of Kejriwal, he said, if we talk about Congress leaders raising their voice for Kejriwal, then I understand that Rahul Gandhi and Congress have always tried to stand in favor of human rights. . They never say that a person is innocent, but if someone is kept in jail without the charges being proven, their support is always with the law. But when it comes to Congress or our leaders, did Kejriwal ever help us? When the leaders of the Congress government were intimidated and put in jail, did Kejriwal say a word? While he is in the alliance, he does not understand how to follow the dharma of the alliance.
