New Delhi, November 24 (IANS). The Delhi State team participating in the Senior National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy will be captained by Garhwal Heroes captain Milind Negi. Mohit Mittal has been made the vice-captain.
According to a release issued by Administrative Head Eklavya Singh, Delhi has to face Chandigarh, Uttarakhand and Haryana in its pool in the championship to be played in Amritsar.
According to selection committee chairman Rizwan-ul-Haq, Vikrant Gupta has been made head coach, Ajay Kumar assistant coach, and Sandeep Dhole goalkeeper coach. Joginder Rawat will be the other coach, Ajay Kumar will be the manager and Imayariba Pongener will be the physio. Six players from Sudeva and five from Garhwal have been included in the team.
