Demand for Alwar onion increased, demand in 5 more states

There was a decline of 80 rupees in price. 75 thousand pieces of onion arrived in the onion market on Sunday. The wholesale prices of onion ranged from Rs 920 to Rs 1320. The retail price of onion was Rs 30 to 40 per kg. Onion wholesaler Pratap Singh Saini said that 70 thousand onion sets arrived in the onion market on Sunday. That means 35 thousand quintals of onion arrived. The wholesale prices of onion ranged from Rs 920 to Rs 1320. Saturday was a holiday for the onion market. On Friday, 75 thousand onion sets had arrived. That means 30 thousand quintals of onion had arrived. Depending on the quality, the wholesale price of onion was ranging from Rs 800 to Rs 1400. The retail price of onion was Rs 40 to Rs 50 per kg. Earlier onion was going to Delhi, Bihar, Punjab, Assam, Orissa and West Bengal. Due to the good quality of onion from Alwar, the demand for onion has increased in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal, Uttarakhand and Andhra Pradesh also.
