Demand for cauliflower of Jhunjhunu Udaipurwati region started increasing in other states.

Jhunjhunu : Jhunjhunu Due to the continuously increasing demand for cauliflower in the markets of Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan, farmers in the villages of Udaipurwati region have started paying more attention to its production. Farmers who once depended on barley, wheat and millet crops are now earning huge profits from cauliflower cultivation. Cauliflower is being cultivated on a large scale in the villages of Jahaj, Rajivpura, Manaksas and Khetri, Nawalgarh subdivision. Farmers cultivating cauliflower, Bhagirath Saini, Chhoturam Saini, Shyamlal, Lalchand Saini, Savita Devi, Suman Devi told that a cabbage plant comes in the form of seeds in every two thousand to three thousand. The sapling of one garden is planted in one bigha. This crop, which is ready in 60 days, costs up to Rs 8,000 in one bigha. With this, the farmer prepares about twenty to thirty quintals of cauliflower in one bigha. It is sold in the markets at Rs 30 to 40 per kg.

Agriculture supervisor Puran Prakash Yadav says that with time, farmers in villages and towns including Udaipurwati, Raipur of Neemkathana, Hempura, cultivate cauliflower by preparing seedlings. The demand for cauliflower grown in these villages is high. Rudmal Saini, Kailash Saini, Hiralal Saini etc. say that there is more demand for Gurugram, Hisar, Jaipur, Sikar in Delhi, Jaipur, Didwana, Haryana. Bagholi Sarpanch Advocate Jatan Kishore Saini and Jahaj Sarpanch Kavita Saini said that farmers should get the facility of improved quality seeds on subsidy. The area of ​​cauliflower is increasing every year. Where earlier in villages farmers used to sow vegetables in two-four yards. Now sowing is done according to bigha. With the advent of new agricultural techniques, the inclination of farmers has increased towards fruits and vegetables instead of crops. In these, the cost is less and the profit is more.
