Demand for improvement in government facilities for Hanumangarh nomadic community raised

Hanumangarh : National President of Sarvabhat Rao All India Foundation, Rampratap Bhat alias Prakash Nath submitted a memorandum to the Collector in the name of the Chief Minister. In the memorandum, concern was expressed over the irregularities in government facilities for the nomadic, semi-nomadic and liberated communities. It was alleged in the memorandum that illegal fees are being collected from the beneficiaries in the camps in the name of making basic documents. Apart from this, due to lack of government arrangements, e-Mitra operators are charging fees arbitrarily. Due to which the people of the community are troubled.

The National President said that earlier free leases would be distributed to the nomadic community, but now Rs 3-4 thousand are being charged from these people in the Panchayats for the lease. District President Vijay Bhat said that despite the announcement of organizing a camp for the community from 27 November 2024 to 15 December 2024, publicity is not being done at the Municipal Council and Gram Panchayat level. Rakesh Kumar, Balram Chandi, Vijay Tak, Chetram, Prahlad, Sandeep, Mukhtyar, Malkit Nath, etc. were present on this occasion.
