Sikar : Students protested against not holding sociology classes in Kamala Modi Girls College of Neemkathana. The students of the student organization SFI submitted a memorandum to the Principal in the name of the Higher Education Minister demanding appointment of a teacher.
Tehsil Joint Secretary Kiran Saini said that sociology subject classes are not being held in Kamla Modi Girls for the session 2023-24 and 2024-25 for two consecutive years. The semester examinations of the students are also nearing, due to which the students are quite worried. We have already given memorandum to the Collector and Principal regarding this, but till now no solution has been found. In such a situation, the future of the students is being played with.
Unit President Kashish Kumari said that the professor of sociology has been on maternity leave for a long time and apart from her there is no other teacher of sociology. He has demanded to appoint a sociology teacher as soon as possible. Also warned of agitation if no solution is found soon.
