Demand to remove discrepancies in MBC reservation in Dausa state

Women workers of Dausa : Rajasthan Special Backward Class Reservation Sangharsh Committee and Rajesh Pilot Farmers Organization of District Dausa met former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot demanding rectification of anomalies in MBC reservation.

The women who met under the leadership of Rajesh Pilot Kisan Sangathan District President and Rajasthan Gurjar Mahasabha General Secretary Ratan Singh Patel urged Pilot to soon include MBC reservation in the Ninth Schedule and to give the benefit of 5 percent reservation fixed for MBC category in all government recruitments and appointments. There should be no reduction in the percentage of posts filled by MBC category, such rules and bye-laws made by Rajasthan Government and recruitment agencies should be changed due to which MBC category candidates do not get the full benefit of 5 percent reservation. being given.

Legal action should be taken against the officers and employees who make rules and bye-laws with the aim of depriving MBC category of 5 percent posts. If candidates of MBC category are available in government recruitment, the posts should be filled from them only. No post should be kept vacant and should not be filled from any other category. If a candidate of MBC category is not found then keep the bag log. There should be no limit on minimum passing marks in government recruitment for MBC category.
