Jhalawar : During the Jhalawar Deoli-Uniara Assembly by-election, people of Meena community protested in Sanravata village, calling the dispute unfortunate. The people of the society submitted a memorandum to the Jhalawar district administration demanding appropriate action. In the memorandum submitted to the Jhalawar Collector in the name of the Chief Minister under the leadership of Advocate Premchand Meena, it was said that in the darkness of 9 o’clock in the night, villagers and supporters of Naresh Meena gathered in the village. But the police resorted to lathicharge by throwing tear gas shells, which is condemnable. In this way, the police administration has used force on the villagers in an unfair and inhuman manner in the dark of night. We strongly condemn it. Voting is a voluntary process and no one can be made to vote against his will. This is a constitutional right, but the District Collector and SDM there intimidated the villagers and forced them to vote under pressure from their position, which spoiled the atmosphere of Samravata village.
The people of the society said that there is an appeal to our government not to play with the future of the innocent people who have been arrested by the police administration and to release them soon and the government should compensate for the loss caused to the innocent people of the village. Do it quickly and strict action should be taken against the guilty officers. Also Naresh Meena who was fighting for the just demands. Release him soon and a judicial inquiry should be conducted into the entire incident that took place in the village.
