Villagers protested outside the Collectorate regarding the road construction work that has been stalled for 19 months between village Jasrasar to Dhirasar on Churu Sardarshahar Marg. There was anger among the villagers regarding this. The angry villagers demonstrated in the Collectorate by shouting slogans and submitted a memorandum written in blood to District Collector Abhishek Surana regarding their demands.
Villagers told that this road starts from Jasrasar and goes to Dhirasar village via Ramdevra, Nakrasar, Jasasar, but the road construction work here has been stopped for the last 19 months. Presently the villagers are facing a lot of problems due to the damaged road. Therefore, the road construction work should be completed soon. Villagers say that due to this incomplete road construction, accidents often happen on the road, due to which there is a danger to people’s lives. The villagers say that if the road construction work is not completed soon, they will protest and fast unto death by blocking the road.
