CMHO said that this time mosquitoes have increased due to excessive rain. However, the medical department is fully prepared. 11 teams have been formed in the city for anti-larva activities. 222 ASHA and ANM teams have been deployed in rural areas. Door-to-door survey is being conducted. Temiphos is being poured into the water tank. Gambusia fishes are being added to waterlogged areas to eliminate mosquitoes.

Symptoms and prevention of malaria

Dr. Rohitash Gurjar told that in the mosquito-borne disease malaria, the parasite Plasmodium reaches the human blood when bitten by a mosquito. Sometimes malaria infection becomes so serious that the person suffering from it even dies. Its symptoms include chills, fever with shivering, headache etc. Usually its fever comes at a fixed time, in which the patient remains fine between the increases of fever. When malaria season is going on in monsoon and these symptoms appear, then first of all consult a doctor. Wear full sleeved and long clothes. Get fogging done and take care of cleanliness around. Do not allow water to stagnate to avoid mosquito breeding sites.

dengue symptoms

Regarding dengue, Dr. Rohitash Gurjar says that dengue also affects people more during the rainy season. This is also a mosquito-borne infection, which is caused by the bite of Aedes mosquitoes. Aedes mosquitoes bite during the day. Dengue includes high fever, cold, headache, body pain etc. The platelet count in the blood of a person suffering from dengue decreases. Dehydration can also occur, due to which many serious problems can occur. Fever persists.

Keep these things in mind to avoid dengue

Dengue mosquitoes breed more in stagnant fresh water, so keep containers containing water covered. Keep cleaning the water kept in coolers and utensils from time to time. Dr. Rohitash explains that carelessness in both the diseases can prove costly because if the platelets decrease rapidly then bleeding can occur.
