Dengue outbreak increasing in Rajasthan, one dead, medical department on alert mode

Kota : Dengue is now proving fatal in Kota district. A nursing student died of dengue in Karwad village of Kota district. The first case of death due to dengue has come to light in Kota district. Here, the medical department became alert. Salim Mohammad, father of the deceased student, said that the deceased student Nazia (21) was doing nursing from ANM Training Center located in Nayapura, Kota. When she got fever, she consulted a doctor in Kota and came to her village on Wednesday. His drip was put on Thursday. Later, when his health deteriorated, his family took him to Etawah Hospital. From there he was referred to Kota. He died during treatment in emergency at the new hospital of Kota Medical College. Family members said that dengue affected the brain.

On receiving the information, Pipalda PHC and Etawah medical team reached Karwad and took information from the family members. Pipalda PHC medical in-charge Dr. Nikhil also took information about the disease from the family members. Here, new Medical Superintendent Dr. Ashutosh Sharma told that Nazia had come to the emergency, but her blood pressure and blood pressure were not coming. The treatment continued for two hours. CMHO Dr. Jagdish Soni said that the report of the deceased has not come from the medical college, but the student had symptoms of dengue. His card test or positive report must have come, that is why the medical team has got the activity done in the village.

178 cases of dengue have been reported so far

Dengue cases are being reported every day in Kota district. So far 178 dengue cases have been reported. 160 cases of scrub typhus have also been reported.
