Dense fog covered many areas of Rajasthan, mercury reached below 7 degrees Celsius in Mount Abu.

Rajasthan : The weather is changing once again in Rajasthan. This morning the temperature dropped, due to which one started feeling cold. People were seen shivering while coming out of their homes in the morning. At the same time, due to fog in many parts of the state, people’s daily routine has been affected. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of snowfall in Kashmir Valley and Himachal Pradesh is now visible in the plains as well. More cold is likely to increase in the coming days, and dense fog may also occur at most places.

According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, the weather in the state remained mainly dry on Tuesday. The highest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 32.2 degrees Celsius in Barmer and the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 8.2 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur (Sikar), apart from this, the mercury was recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius at Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department estimates that there is no possibility of any significant change in the minimum temperatures in most parts of the state during the next 2-3 days. There is a possibility of light to moderate fog in the northern parts of the state.

Effect of cold will be visible in next few days

According to the Meteorological Department, this time it will be colder than in the last several years. There is a possibility of dense fog in the morning in northern parts of the state like Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar and Jhunjhunu for the next 2 days. Due to which the effect of cold will increase further, which will also affect visibility.
