Maharashtra, 4 December (IANS). Maharashtra may get its next CM in the form of Devendra Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis has been elected without any objection in the BJP legislature party meeting. After this, there is a wave of happiness among the supporters of Devendra Fadnavis and BJP MLAs have shared their happiness by talking to IANS.
BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy has said that this is a big and settled decision. This decision is in the interest of Maharashtra. I am confident that Maharashtra will move rapidly towards progress under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis. We wish him the very best from our side.
BJP leader Pankaja Munde has said that today was a very special day. BJP has achieved a historic victory. In today’s BJP party meeting, he has been elected the leader of the legislature party. We are happy that he will take oath for the third time.
BJP leader Ashish Shelar has said that we are very happy. The people of Maharashtra have given a huge majority to Mahayuti. Shiv Sena under the leadership of Eknath Shinde and Nationalist Congress under the leadership of Ajit Pawar performed well. Today we have together elected Devendra Fadnavis. Will stake claim to form government. Today is Diwali for us. Who will be the Deputy CM in the government? All three parties will take a decision on this. Eknath Shinde is not angry. Mahavikas Aghadi people are angry.
BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar said that this is a matter of happiness for us. A Shiva devotee is taking a pledge to take Shivaji Chhatrapati Maharaj’s Maharashtra forward. If we are all together we are safe. On the proposal given by me, all the BJP MLAs have unanimously approved the proposal. No objection has been lodged in any way.
He said that he will go to the Governor at 3 pm to stake claim to form the government. Mahayuti has supported us, we have the numbers, now there is no doubt that Devendra Fadnavis will become the Chief Minister. Eknath Shinde is not angry.
BJP leader Ram Kadam said that in the BJP legislature party meeting, the name which was in the minds of the people of Maharashtra was selected. Today Diwali is being celebrated in every house in Maharashtra.
BJP leader Shrikant Bharatiya has said that all the MLAs have selected the name of Devendra Fadnavis not just by one vote but with one mind. BJP works only what is in the hearts of the people of Maharashtra.
