Mumbai, December 5 (IANS). Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Thursday. After the swearing-in, his wife Amrita Fadnavis said that it is a big day for their family. He told that Devendra Fadnavis has covered a long journey of struggle in politics and today he is getting the fruits of his hard work.
Amrita Fadnavis said that this is a very special day for us. He has struggled a lot and has proved with his hard work every single moment that he is ready for Maharashtra. Today he has taken oath and I am sure that he will take full advantage of this post for the welfare of the people of Maharashtra. He has always said that he works to serve the people and today he has returned again as the Chief Minister, which is a matter of pride for me.
He said that Devendra Fadnavis has made many schemes for the development of the state, which include many initiatives for farmers, children, women and other sections. Along with this, many steps have also been taken towards attracting foreign and local investment. He has responded to the opposition with his works and I am proud of this.
Singer Udit Narayan also congratulated Devendra Fadnavis on becoming the Chief Minister. He said that it is a matter of great joy that Devendra Fadnavis has become the Chief Minister again. He has done great work before and this time he will do ten times better. Shinde Saheb is also doing great work and together these two leaders will do great work for Maharashtra.
After this, Udit Narayan sang a song, “Hum log ko samajh sako to samjho Dilbar jaani, jitna bhi tum samjhoge itne hogi harani, phir bhi dil hai Hindustani!”
Senior BJP leader and former Governor Ram Naik also reacted to Devendra Fadnavis becoming the Chief Minister. He said that this day is a matter of happiness for BJP and Mahayuti. He expressed confidence that in the coming times, under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis, there will be great development in Maharashtra and this state will become the largest state in the country from the economic point of view. He said that there are always some challenges in politics, but we should remain dedicated to our work. Along with economic progress, there will be development in many other areas under the leadership of Fadnavis government in Maharashtra.
