Devendra Fadnavis will become the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra: Tamil Selvan

Mumbai, November 24 (IANS). The ruling alliance ‘Mahayuti’ has got an overwhelming majority in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP has achieved a historic victory in this election with 132 seats.

This victory is special for BJP in many ways as it had suffered a huge loss in the Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections. After the historic victory in the assembly elections, the discussion has intensified on who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Besides, discussion is also going on as to who will be given a place in the cabinet in the next government of Maharashtra.

A letter is going viral on social media, in which it is being said that Tamil Selvan, who won the elections on BJP ticket, will be included in the cabinet in the next government of Maharashtra.

When IANS questioned him on this letter going viral, he said, “I don’t know much about this. I have won the election for the third time. I work as a worker and will continue to do so.”

About meeting Devendra Fadnavis, Tamil Selvan said, “I have won for the third time with the blessings of Devendra Fadnavis. I have come here once again to seek blessings.”

Regarding the slogan of ‘Bantenge to Katenge’, the BJP leader said that the people of Maharashtra have made it clear through this election that they will not get votes without development work. BJP and Mahayuti are alive in Maharashtra through service.

When asked who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Tamil Selvan has said that the people have given majority to Mahayuti. BJP has won 132 seats. Devendra Fadnavis will become the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Tamil Selvan had contested from Sion Koliwada assembly seat. He got 73,429 votes. Congress’s Ganesh Kumar Yadav got 65,534 votes. BJP candidate won by a margin of 7895 votes.
