All efforts are being made to make this effort of the government meaningful. Along with government transport, private transport service providers are also fully cooperating in this.

In this sequence, to provide better local transport facility to the devotees coming to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh, they are also going to get the benefit of online e-rickshaw and e-auto booking facility through the app on the lines of Ola and Uber. The drivers of these e-vehicles will be completely trained and well-behaved. Apart from this, facility of pink taxi will also be available in which women will be drivers. The most important thing is that the devotees will get rid of the rickshaw pullers who charge arbitrary fare. Devotees and tourists will be able to avail this facility from December 15. Before the Maha Kumbh, such an initiative will not only provide the devotees with the benefit of convenient and affordable local rides, but will also support the concept of Green Maha Kumbh of the Yogi government.

45 crore devotees are likely to come to Prayagraj during Mahakumbh. The government has decided to operate more than 7,000 roadways buses and 550 shuttle buses to bring these devotees to Prayagraj, while the Railways is also going to run a total of 3 thousand trains along with about 1,000 additional trains. In this sequence, so that the devotees do not lack local transport in Prayagraj, UP startup Comfy e Mobility has decided to provide the facility of online e rickshaw and e auto booking. In this service starting from December 15, devotees will be able to choose e-vehicles for local rides. The special thing is that all the drivers will be given training to behave well with the visitors and for the convenience of the devotees who have problems in Hindi or English language, all the drivers are also being given training in Google Voice Assistance. These e-vehicles will be available from railway stations, bus stands, airports and all hotels. There is also a provision for pink service with a female driver. Initially 30-40 pink taxis will be available to provide the facility.

Manu Gupta, founder and director of Comfy e-Mobility, said that a convenient, safe and environment-friendly app-based e-rickshaw taxi service will be provided to the devotees coming from every corner of the country and abroad for the Maha Kumbh Mela. To provide convenience to the devotees as well as to provide affordable rides during the Maha Kumbh, no commission will be charged from any driver. Verification of every driver and vehicle owner has been done for safe ride. It is being started in entire Prayagraj and Kumbh Mela with 300 e-rickshaws. All drivers are being trained to behave well with visitors. All e-rickshaws and autos will be tracked with GPRS system, while they will also be fully fitted and covered. Its fare will be transparent, which will be per km. Has been determined accordingly. This will also provide relief from rickshaw pullers who charge higher fares. In case of any inconvenience, devotees will also be able to complain at the call centre.
