Devotees gathered in Tonk Siras for altar consecration and Kalshaarohan festival.

Tonk : the altar consecration and Kalsharohan Mahotsav was celebrated with great pomp in Shri Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Temple Siras in the presence of Acharya Indranandi Maharaj and Balacharya Purnanandi Maharaj.

Society representative and former Sarpanch Mohanlal Jain said that Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya was also organized in the temple on Sunday during the Mahotsav. Where God was worshiped and consecrated. After this the Rath Yatra started from Digambar Jain temple. The idols of Lord Chandra Prabhu, Padma Prabhu and Shanti Nath were installed in the chariot. The Rath Yatra passed in front of the fort and reached the Digambar Jain temple via the main market, Brahmin mohalla. Apart from hundreds of men, women and children of Jain community, people from other communities also participated in the Rath Yatra. The Rath Yatra was welcomed by showering flowers and aarti at various places in the town. Nemichand Madhubala Jain as Kubera in God’s chariot. After this, Kalshaarohan took place on the peak of Digambar Jain temple.

During this, Nemichand, Sanjay Kumar, Ankit, Aarav, Agam and Avika installed the idols of Lord Chandraprabhu in the altar. After this, a felicitation ceremony was organized by the Jain community. A banquet of affection was organized at 4 o’clock in the evening. Devotees from many villages including Niwai, Parana, Hathauna, Shivad participated in the Vedi Pratishtha Mahotsav.
