Let us tell you that the history of Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple is about 400 years old. This popular temple was built in 1761 under the supervision of Seth Jai Ram Paliwal. According to a story, the king was returning after travelling on a bullock cart with the Ganesh idol. But there was a condition that a grand temple of Shri Ganesh would be built at the place where the bullock cart would stop. According to the story, the cart stopped below Dungri hill.
