Dharna started here in Rajasthan against the cancellation of formation of 17 new districts, BJP MP in deep trouble

Jalore : Out of the 17 new districts and three new divisions created by the Gehlot government before the assembly elections in Rajasthan, four districts and one division are in danger. It is being told that the Bhajanlal Government is planning to cancel 6-7 new districts (Rajasthan New Districts). Meanwhile, the political temperature in Rajasthan has risen after the statement given by BJP state president Madan Rathore on small districts.

Bar Association Sanchore announced strike

Because, the Bar Association Sanchore has announced a one-day strike. The Bar Association Sanchore announced that, “In protest against the statement given by the BJP State President to cancel Sanchore district and demanding to keep Sanchore as a district, today on 09 September 2024, all the advocates of Bar Association Sanchore will voluntarily not give personal/virtual presence and will be on strike for a day.”

Madan Rathod gave this statement

In fact, BJP state president Madan Rathore had said during his visit to Bhilwara that, “The Congress government created many wrong districts in a hurry to take political advantage. Districts of one assembly each were created. How can a government create a district of just one assembly in this way? While creating districts, neither the area was looked at nor the population was assessed. Many such districts were created which were created only for appeasement, we will remove them.” Giving the example of Dudu, Kekri and Sanchore, he said, you tell me how is this justified. He said that the committee has studied it. The demand for many districts is justified. But we will remove those which are not demanded. There are 6-7 such districts which we will abolish. Now only those districts will be kept by the government.

Sukhram Vishnoi gave this warning

On the other hand, after the statement of BJP state president Madan Rathore, Congress leaders are now retaliating. Former minister Sukhram Vishnoi has warned that Sanchore was a district and will remain so. Sukhram Vishnoi said, “I want to request Madan Rathore that the district that has been formed, Sanchore, is located at a distance of 150 km from the old district Jalore. The villages of Sanchore district are 220-230 km away from Jalore.” Sukhram Vishnoi claimed that, of all the districts that have been formed, Sanchore district is the farthest. All the criteria have been fulfilled and the districts have been formed after the opinion given by the committee after conducting public hearing.

The committee has submitted its report on 30 August

Let us tell you that Bhajan Lal government had constituted a cabinet sub-committee under the coordination of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa on June 12 for the review of 17 new districts. A high level expert committee was constituted under the chairmanship of former IAS Lalit K. Panwar to assist the cabinet sub-committee. The committee has submitted its report to the government on August 30. According to the information, the Panwar committee has not considered many small districts to be suitable as per the district criteria.
