Apart from this, 312 people involved in various illegal activities have been arrested. Along with these, swift action has also been taken against illegal mining, liquor and weapons.
In the last one month, Dholpur Police has arrested 34 people regarding illegal liquor in the district, from whom a huge quantity of illegal liquor has been recovered. In the matter of illegal weapons, the police have registered separate cases in a month and arrested 16 people, from whom 16 illegal weapons and 16 live cartridges have been recovered. In a month-long campaign against the miscreants, the police have arrested four criminals including two carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 each. Apart from this, the police have arrested three people in illegal drug cases in a month and recovered 3 kg 955 grams of ganja.
SP Sumit Mehrada said that last month a big campaign was launched against gambling. In which 236 people have been arrested in the gambling betting case and gambling amount of Rs 5 lakh 45 thousand 260 has been recovered. Taking action against illegal mining, the police registered 19 cases and arrested 15 people, from whom 21 vehicles were seized and 128 tonnes of gravel and stones were also seized. The police have also arrested three people, including two women, in the honey trap case along with the mastermind of cyber fraud. The SP said that to reduce the tension of the police, a sports competition was also organized last month. Along with this, to keep the memories of the martyred police personnel of the district fresh, their photographs have been installed in the main hall of the SP office.
