Dholpur: Groom missing five days before wedding, missing registered

Dholpur : Disappearance of a groom five days before the wedding in Dholpur police station Etmaddaula area has created panic in the family. The marriage of the missing youth is to take place on 22nd November. His marriage procession is to go to Kalwari located at Bichupari of Jagdishpura police station. The engagement ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday 20th November. Even before this the young man who was going to be the groom went missing. When the worried family members could not find anything, they approached the police. Police have registered the case and started searching for the youth.

The name of this 27 year old youth, resident of Motimahal in Etmaddaula area, is Amit. Amit’s marriage has been fixed with a girl living in Kalwari, Bichpuri. Wedding preparations are going on in full swing at home. The wedding procession was to take place on 22nd November, but Amit suddenly went missing from the evening of 17th November. Family members told that on November 17, he had gone to Chhalasar to give a wedding card to his friend, but after giving the card he did not return. The scooter on which Amit had gone was also not found. The family members searched for the young man but could not find him. Amit’s mobile phone is also switching off. The family informed the police about Amit’s sudden disappearance. The police have registered a missing person and started searching for the youth. Police station in-charge Inspector Etmaddaula said that efforts are being made to find the location with the help of surveillance. Call details of Amit’s mobile phone have also been extracted. He has also been seen leaving in the CCTV of a dhaba located at Chhalasar. The police hope that he will be traced soon.
