Dholpur News Desk: After the High Court’s sati, the Municipal Council’s removal of encroachment campaign proved to be a sham. Due to non-observance of Sati, encroachment has once again spread on the roads and streets of the city market. The bangle market from which encroachment was removed during the campaign is buzzing again. Due to which the traffic on the main routes is being disrupted. Due to the lax attitude of the Municipal Council, the problem of encroachment in the city is increasing instead of decreasing. After the High Court’s order, the city council and the administrative team had started a campaign to remove encroachments from the main intersections and markets of the city. This campaign continued for three days, but after that the matter calmed down. During this period, encroachment was removed from Gulab Bagh to Jagdish Talkies, Chudi Bazaar, Gaurav Path, Hardev Nagar via Palace Road. But after a few hours, as soon as the officials turned their backs, the encroachers again encroached at the same places. After which the Municipal Council did not show any remorse and did not take any strict action against the encroachers. As a result, shopkeepers have encroached heavily on the streets of the city.
Temporary shops decorated in bangle market
Seeing the work of removing encroachment after the court order, it seemed as if the city council might eliminate the problem of encroachment from the city. But this thought remained in the minds of the citizens only. The encroachment that was removed from Gulab Bagh intersection to Jagdish intersection has been restored. Shopkeepers have again put up tin sheets in front of the shops. And while the goods from the shops have been kept till the market road, then kiosks have been placed on the footpath. Yellow Claw roared fiercely in the bangle market behind Gandhi Park. And the encroachment including the temporary shops was demolished, but after a few hours the temporary shops have reopened in the bangle market.
Even the streets in orange and red markets were decorated
Encroachment has become a scourge for the city. But those responsible are sitting with their eyes closed towards this. Due to which it is becoming difficult to get food from the city markets. The main roads from Orange Bazaar to Lal Bazaar, Modi Square, Halwai Khana, Old Post Office to Jagan Square, Hardev Nagar were already narrow. Due to encroachment from above, it has shrunk further. Due to which vehicles are able to pass easily, even the pedestrians are facing problems while commuting. The most pathetic condition is of orange market and red market. Where the shopkeepers have again displayed their goods on the streets. Due to which there is jam in the markets every day.
