Dholpur : POCSO court of Dholpur has sentenced a person guilty of kidnapping and raping a minor to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. Apart from this, he has also been punished with a fine of Rs 10,000. Special Public Prosecutor of POCSO Court, Santosh Mishra said that a complainant had lodged a report at Mahila Police Station on 16 February 2017. In which it was told that his 14 year old minor daughter had gone to school on 15 February 2017. When the daughter did not come home from school, the victim reported the matter to the police. In this case, the police registered a case, detained the minor, presented him in the court and recorded his statement. Also got medical examination done. In which rape was confirmed.
The police took action in the case and arrested the accused and sent him to jail. From where the accused got bail from the High Court. Special Public Prosecutor said that after the bail was forfeited, the accused was admitted back to jail. In the case, Public Prosecutor Mishra presented 22 witnesses in the court and proved the documents. In the case of kidnapping and rape of a minor, Judge Rajkumar, after hearing the arguments of both the parties and the arguments of the Public Prosecutor, on Thursday convicted the accused and sentenced him to ten years imprisonment. Have been sentenced to rigorous imprisonment. Along with imprisonment, he has also been punished with a fine of Rs 10,000.
