Dholpur : Traffic Police has launched a campaign against the jams and overloaded vehicles in the city during the upcoming wedding ceremony in Dholpur. On Monday, the traffic police conducted a campaign on Rajkheda bypass and got the carts parked on the roadside removed and issued challans to overloaded tempo drivers. After which action was taken by the traffic police in the entire city. Traffic in-charge Tinu Sogarwal said that before Devuthani Ekadashi, a ‘remove encroachment’ campaign was launched on Tuesday to eliminate the problem of traffic jam in the city. He told that during wedding ceremonies, there is maximum problem of traffic jam on Rajkheda bypass. With the help of the police team, action was taken against the encroachers.
Traffic in-charge said that along with widening the roads by removing illegal encroachments from Rajkheda bypass, action has been taken against overloaded vehicle drivers. He said that the police have issued challans to the drivers who carry overloaded passengers in the tempo. In view of the problem of traffic jam in the city, the campaign started by the traffic police will continue. Regarding which the traffic police had already issued a warning. The traffic in-charge said that after talking to the city council, arrangements will be made to provide space to the carts parked on the roadside so that there is no problem of traffic jam in the city.
