Dholpur Two day science teaching workshop of Bureau of Indian Standards for awareness among students

Dholpur : Dholpur A two-day standardization workshop for mentors and science teachers was organized by the Noida branch of the Bureau of Indian Standards at Raj Niwas Palace, Dholpur. It was inaugurated by Chief District Education Officer Dawoodyal Sharma and Standard Promotion Officer of Noida branch Amardeep Jaiswal. In the workshop, Chief District Education Officer Dawoodyal Sharma praised the work of the Standard Club run in schools to create awareness among the students by the Standards Bureau, an independent agency for third party certification for the safety and quality of various products.

In the workshop, Amardeep Jaiswal, Standards Promotion Officer, Bureau of Indian Standards, described the certification mark schemes as beneficial for consumers after inspecting a product to check its quality, right from the raw material to the condition of the finished product. In the workshop, the participants were divided into small groups and given instructions about various products for standard writing, in which Technical Resource Person Atul Chauhan explained the standard writing of school chalk through a group presentation. In the workshop, Amardeep Jaiswal, Akash Bhardwaj, Munendra Singh and Soni Yadav of Noida branch reviewed various presentations and asked the mentors to organize various activities to bring awareness among the students.
